Hades by Alexandra Adornetto

I just happened to stop by Alexandra's Facebook page and noticed that she had a teaser video for HADES and a caption about if the video reaches it target in hits that there might a sneak preview or 2 into HADES and I'm pretty sure if you're a fan of the series as I am, that will be the perfect tid bit to hold us over until the release of the much anticipated sequel to HALO

Happy Book Release Day to STARCROSSED and Josephine Angelini

"How do you defy destiny?
Helen Hamilton has spent her entire sixteen years trying to hide how different she is—no easy task on an island as small and sheltered as Nantucket. And it's getting harder. Nightmares of a desperate desert journey have Helen waking parched, only to find her sheets damaged by dirt and dust. At school she's haunted by hallucinations of three women weeping tears of blood . . . and when Helen first crosses paths with Lucas Delos, she has no way of knowing they're destined to play the leading roles in a tragedy the Fates insist on repeating throughout history.
As Helen unlocks the secrets of her ancestry, she realizes that some myths are more than just legend. But even demigod powers might not be enough to defy the forces that are both drawing her and Lucas together—and trying to tear them apart."

On behalf of all the bookworms out there I would like to wish both STARCROSSED and Josephine Angelini a very Happy Book Release Day!

The moment STARCROSSED is available in South Africa I assure you it will be ordered :)

Please if you can and the book catches your eye pick up a copy.

My Soul To Save by Rachel Vincent

I'm starting this blog off very honest, I could not put MY SOUL TO SAVE down. It did help that my youngest sister had me on book lockdown so she good get lost in the pages and thank heavens she had.

My only tiny snag is one of my favourite characters, Emma, didn't get much story time, but I know she isn't a main character but I still missed. Otherwise I loved the book.

Rachel, can convey emotionsso well that I was in tears from about halfway through book and when the storyline took a dramatic turn my heart sank to my feet, I couldn't read quick enough to have my fears drained by the words on the pages.

What I also found interesting at the end was a question that Tod asked Kaylee and her response and with that came an internal question that I found would be interesting to find the answer from her. So fingers crossed that question will answered perhaps in MY SOUL TO KEEP or perhaps IF I DIE.

I'm ending off here or I will be ruining the storyline and I do need to get lost in the pages of MY SOUL TO KEEP before my sister knocks on my door placing me yet again on book lockdown.

The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide by Stephenie Meyer

Every Twilight fan has been waiting for the Illustrated Guide and I'm proud to admit that I am amoung those people.

I found the book to be very insightful and rather enjoyed the interview with Stephie at the beginning of the book it helps us understandhow she came to each character and how the sudden fame affected her but most of all for me was the fact that she loves to hear what her fans like to say about the books or if perhaps her books helped people start reading again or find the love of books.

I felt that when I closed the final page of BREAKING DAWN that it was done each character no longer had a story but was I wrong. Their stories don't end when you close the book and that I loved about about the Guide it showed us more and helped us figure out characters that seemed confusing at times.
For example: Emmett Cullen.
I never knew that he understood what Bella felt towards Edward in the series and the Guide explains that Emmett belived Rosalie to be angel and Carlise G-d, but his love for Rosalie was as intense as the love Bella felt for Edward.

If your a Twilight fan pick up the book andrevisit the world of Forks :)

My Soul To Take by Rachel Vincent

I have just finished reading Rachel Vincent's MY SOUL TO TAKE and I couldn't put the book down. It was a pretty fast paced book and when I reached the twist i couldn't wait to see what the next page held in Kaylee, Nash and Emma's story.

I don't want to say too much in case i let slip the juicy parts in the book, but for it is a must read and I cannot believe it took me so long to pick up the book, if it wasn't for a friend, Mikila, I might never have read it and I thank her with my bookwormness :)

Rachel, takes a step into a world that hasn't really been written yet, well not any books that I have come across and it's a nice change from the usual paranormal books on the shelves at the moment. I cannot wait to continue with the follow up, which I will start reading tonight :)

Pick up a copy if you happen to come across it in your local bookstore, but a word of advice from an emotional reader-keep a box of tissues at arms length *SNIFF*

Born at Midnight by C.C Hunter

From the moment i opened the book and began reading i couldn't put BORN AT MIDNIGHT down and i must say congrats to C.C Hunter on her debut book.

I felt like i could relate to Kylie in a way, especially while she is trying to discover herself. I'm pretty sure most of us have felt like we don't belong one time or another. C.C shows us that its okay to be different, life wouldn't be fun if we were all the same.

I must say that I cannot wait for the follow up AWAKE AT DAWN, and for me i was devastated when I had reached the final page :(

I found the differences between Derek and Lucas appealing but their genuine love for Kylie is what brings them closer. I have to admit that i couldn't decide between the two boys but i wish everyone luck.

For me its a must read so if you get a chance to pick it up you will enjoy it.

Vampire Diaries: No Return: Midnight by L.J Smith

I was pretty impressed with Smith's latest installment in the series and found it at places to be extremely hard to put down and near the end I was left in tears.

The beginning for me was a bit slow compared to the previous books in the series and at a point I was willing to the close the book and put it back in my shelf, but once i was about 4 or 5 chapters in i just couldn't put it down. You see the struggle that Elena is still going through and how she comes to terms with it at the end.

I also noticed that Bonnie's character grows tremendously and that for me was one of the many highlights within MIDNIGHT.

I'm going to end my review off here or I'm pretty sure I will giveaway the story line.
